Mr. Choucri established HC Securities & Investment in May 1996. As Chairman and Managing Director, Choucri has led HC Securities & Investment in becoming one of the most distinguished investment banks in the Middle East and North Africa, with operations in Egypt, the UAE, Syria, and the UK.

Mr. Choucri is a board member of a number of associations and reputable companies, most notably:

Mr. Choucri joined Morgan Stanley in 1980, and was a Managing Director from January 1987 until July 1993. He was responsible for Morgan Stanley's business activities in the emerging markets of the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent.

He was Advisory Director at Morgan Stanley from 1993 to 2007. He was involved in a variety of privatization projects in Turkey, India, and Argentina. In Argentina he acted as an advisor to the government concerning the telecommunications company ENTel. Choucri worked with the Abu Dhabi Investment Company prior to joining Morgan Stanley and participated in arranging several Euroloan and Eurobond financings for sovereigns and private sector companies.

His experience includes involvement in a wide range of investment banking assignments including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and financial advisory services. He has also been involved in a variety of fundraising assignments on behalf of a wide range of clients. Mr. Choucri received his Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo in 1978, and his Bachelor of Arts from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, in 1972.
