HC Sponsors & Participates in Educational Conference on Investment

Cairo, Egypt -February 9th, 2005- As part of their commitment to educate future industry professionals in investment banking and brokerage, HC Brokerage, one of the leading investment and brokerage firms in the country, announced today that they will partake in the International Conference on Global Economy (ICGE), and will sponsor the Stock Market Simulation for this upcoming 4-day conference to be held at the American University in Cairo from the 22-25 of February, 2005.

One of the most reputable student-run activities provided at AUC, ICGE provides students with a real life experience of the Egyptian stock market, allowing delegates to interact by buying and selling CASE-enlisted companies through an electronic portal (Dynamic Database).

Prior to the start of the conference, a number of sessions will take place, in which 80 enthusiastic students from all over Egypt will attend to learn about investment banking and brokerage.

HC Brokerage will hold two educational sessions, consisting of fundamentals analysis and valuation and technical analysis Entitled “Why Prices Change; Fundamental & Technical Analysis,” the two sessions will include information about the presenter, its main activities, products and services, employment process, and corporate culture.

HC Brokerage will also provide support in terms of sponsorship. The company will sponsor the Stock Market Simulation (SMS), providing the secretariats of the conference with the necessary know-how and equipment needed to deliver a more practical, real-life experience to the student delegates.

This is not the first time for HC to participate in a youth conference. The brokerage also partook in an educational conference held by Cairo Alexandria Stock Exchange (CASE) at Cairo University and another conference that was held at the German University in Cairo (GUC).
