Our Equity Portfolio Strategy

We invest in companies with strong profiles, attractive valuations – in light of current and projected earnings – and future growth prospects. Our investment strategy also targets:

• Companies with attractive current yields compared to prevailing market interest rates.
• Companies that can achieve future capital gains.
• Companies with large market capitalizations, which provide a high degree of liquidity.

Finally, it is our policy not to invest more than 20% of a portfolio in any one company.

Our Fixed Income Portfolio Strategy

HC’s Fixed Income portfolio relies on deposits with reputable international institutions or with banks that have strong balance sheets. Other investment instruments include investment grade government bonds, bank bonds and select corporate bonds. Active management ensures that our portfolio outperforms the market, yields attractive returns and realizes positive alpha for our clients.
