Dr. Mohamed El Saiid is an Executive Director and Head of the Technical Analysis Department at HC Brokerage (HCB), Cairo, Egypt. He began his career at Momentum Wavers Ltd., a Middle East technical analysis firm (2001–2004), before joining HCB as an Associate / Lead Technical Analyst (2004–2006). He later joined Unifund, a Geneva-based global private fund (2006–2007), where he served as Chief Technical Strategist and Co-Fund Manager for Middle East investments.
He holds an MBA and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Finance. He previously served as President of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA), Chairman of the Egyptian Society of Technical Analysts (ESTA), and Head of ESTA’s Education Committee. Dr. El Saiid has authored several technical analysis–related articles and developed multiple proprietary indicators, including Volatility-Based Envelopes (VBE), the Implied Volatility Projection Range (IVPR), and Relative Performance Candlestick Charts (RPCC).
